Shouldn't Tatsuki stop drinking if he wants to be a good mate to Hiroyuki? Being a huge drunkard isn't an attractive trait, considering his father isn't exactly a role model to follow...
Old habits die hard lol. I believe he will stop or at least tune it down along the playthrough (him being a drunk most of the times might be just for character development reasons).

First of all I want to say I'm impressed you single handedly started working on a sequel of Morenatsu. Your love for the game must be pretty big. You tried and didn't fail making it feel like the old one, aside a few things. The artstyle and music are of course the most noticeable aspects and reminiscent for many. I like that you included a world map too.
Now I know you said it yourself in the end, but yeah... the overflowing emotion density was high, very high this time around. Also what I noticed is how short every day was, even though you managed to provide the plot with character development surprisingly. In all honesty, to me it doesn't sit right how Hiroyuki, Torahiko and Juuichi act around each other, it is really awkward. (I don't know about Tatsuki) You pretty much nailed their characters, but the way they talk... I understand you wrote it so Hiro was once again away from Minasato (please get the name right haha), though only for a year. I don't dislike it, it's just... a little bit weird. However the language you used is fine.
If I find more to say, I'll make sure to write it down too.

I've been thinking about one thing and that is nsfw scenes for Tora. His route was never finished (maybe in Japanese Idk), so there's no art for him. To be honest, I don't think I've ever played the very original, let's say core game, only Morenatsu Revisited and Homecoming, though I'm not certain about it. What I'm getting at is I don't know, is there artwork made by you or are all of the pictures from the original?
Oh also, Is Hiroyuki (the MC's name in the original game, Revisited and Homecoming I believe) a human or a furry/antropomorphic animal? I was hoping for a furry, but since you used the old art entirely he's going to be or already is a human, right?

Yes, transferring save files is quite easy (I am assuming you are on Windows):
When downloading a new update just override files in your current game folder., alternatively you can move your save files from the old game folder to the new one, if you chose to do so there are only 2 files you need to move:
On a side note, while i know you may not do anymore routes outside of these three, I definitely feel like Ten Kodori would be a great addition, especially if you love Juiichi (Ten had a smaller route in the that was added to the first Morenatsu Revisited project). If you don't do any more routes then it would still be cool if you had an extra mode with small "what if" scenes for some of the other previous characters.
Either way I am loving this and as long as the Morenatsu team doesn't have a problem with it you should create a patreon for this project.
Good luck with your project, buddy:) Even though i love Juuichi and this fanmade sequel makes him as a main love interest, Torahiko x Hiroyuki is still OTP, a canon pairing from the original game and will always be) Btw, i'm happy you're using the original sprites, that's a right choice ^^
P.S. We don't know which city Hiroyuki moved to. In the original, it was just an unknown city, "Osaka" is an addition by revisited/homecoming team and isn't an original source. Anyway, good luck once again:3

This Morenatsu situation is just confusing. We had: the original game which was left unfinished, a revival port that tried to finish the game but I don’t know if it actually finished it, a remake of the first game which is still in progress and taking awhile, and now a fan made sequel to the first game.
This situation is just kinda funny. But good work on this so far, would love it if anyone could clear up the confusion for me though
You are right, Morenatsu is indeed a confusing matter. They have in fact finished a version of the game called Morenatsu -Revisited- (you can find it in furaffinity), I said finished but they never actually completed Tora's routes.
This game I am developing continues from the original Juuichi's perfect ending in which he falls in love with MC but they still part ways as MC needs to return to Osaka.
On top of that, this game will offer a complete romance-able route for Tora (should the player decide to do so).
Had the raccoon route in the very 1st version. But it disappeared in the second 1st version and had a new route with the friend of the bear. The wolf/dog that fight with him. I didn't played its route.
Have a very short end with the tiger in the middle of the bear route. In a single day and without adult art.
Only the lion and the dog had not routes at all. But had new moments with both in the 2nd version of the 1st version... v.0.35 - v.0.5 I think.
I am not sure about the revisited version. I didn't play it yet,

Thanks for your comment! Juuichi's perfect ending for both original and revisited is the following: at the end of the summer, Juuichi gave his jacket to Hiroyuki, both as a way to remember him and as a contract that Hiroyuki will come back and return it to him.
The bear had two ends but the some changes. The best had two adult scenes and the worse... I don't like to remember it. It is so sinister.
The dragon route had 6 ends... some comicaly crazy.
Most routes had two ends. But the cat had a best end with ... something only its route show at the end before you get in the bus back home and some after if you find something out in the cat's room.

The story starts by featuring MC together with Juuichi. However, you can follow Tatsu route, fall in love with him and get together. Only note that this means a break-up with Juuichi. :)
That's kind of sad I feel bad for haveing to do that just to get the guy I liked in the first game. It also means none of the events we had together happened. It's not quite the same :/
While I completely understand your point of you, I think this adds to the game-play. I also believe some sadness does make a story more interesting and personable in a way :)

My thoughts on Morenatsu2

I was thinking about setting up a Patreon eventually, however, I really want everyone to enjoy this game free of charge.
That said, I am spending hours writing the story down, scripting and implementing never seen before CGs .

Most of the routes were completed, except for Tora and a couple more chars.
My game starts from Juuichi's ending (which was completed). It addition to that, it gives player the option to romance Tora and Tatsuki.

Wait... so... I... somehow *never saw* the good ending? How many endings are there? I thought there were only 2, and neither of them were good.
Maybe I need to try playing Revisited again and figure out what I missed.
Opened it back up and noticed that there are actually guides. It looks like I missed something veeeery early on.

I think dev idea makes sense, it adds interesting paths to the game, I know it's sad but such is life! I do personally love the idea behind it!
